So what are the MoEZ Hooks anyway?
by Valerie, MoEZ Creator
(Co-conspirator)
With MoEZ Hooks, projects just about make
themselves. The MoEZ Hooks are made
from hard wood and are longer and larger in
diameter than traditional metal or plastic
crochet hooks. They have a rubber
stopper at the end that serves two purposes:
easier, balanced gripping for more
comfortable, ergonomically correct use and
to prevent the loops from falling off while
working.
By using the Tunisian weave, there is less
work involved in each project and your
finished project is softer and more supple.
With the MoEZ Hooks, you can make afghans
from charts and cross-stitch patterns or you
can choose from the over 50 afghan stitches
to create textured designs.
The ergonomic design of the MoEZ Hooks helps
to alleviate the pain involved with regular
crocheting by allowing the crocheter to hold
the hook more loosely, thereby having less
stress on the fingers, hands, wrists and
arms; keeping movement of the joints
minimal. Additionally, being made of
wood makes them more comforting to touch and
hold than cold metal hooks.
The MoEZ Hooks are sanded to an incredibly
smooth finish that will keep the yarn from
snagging or catching, improving with use.
The wood grain will appear more and more
while the hooks continue to get smoother
with continued use, allowing the yarn to
easily glide over the hook.
The MoEZ Hooks are great for children,
first-timer crocheters and arthritics to
learn and use; fun for all ages! |
