What is MoEZ Afghan Crochet?
MoEZ afghans are made using a MoEZ Hook
and the afghan, or Tunisian, crochet stitch.
MoEZ Hooks are hand-made wooden hooks that
are longer and of larger diameter than
commercially made metal or plastic afghan
hooks. This results in several
wonderful things happening when you make an
afghan with them:
Get more stitches on the hook, thereby
making projects with less paneling.
Designed for more comfortable use,
ergonomically supportive.
The finished product isn't as stiff or
heavy as regular afghan projects.
Larger finished products using less yarn
than traditional hooks.
Best of all: this method and the hooks can be used to make
afghans from charted patterns.
